I am looking to rehome my Syrian hamster along with his entire setup and supplies. He is healthy and very cute, but he is definitely a “ghost hamster,” meaning he is extremely shy and mostly only comes out at night when the lights are off. I know hamsters are naturally nocturnal, but he is more on the timid side and gets stressed when handled or taken out of his enclosure, so I do not take him out often. He would do best with someone who understands that not every hamster enjoys being social or handled.

He will come with:

• His enclosure/setup\
• Bedding/substrate\
• Hideouts & enrichment\
• Food\
• Water dish\
• Other extra supplies

He is used to having:

• Deep bedding for burrowing\
• Multiple hides\
• Different textures/substrates for enrichment (hamsters should ideally have at least 3 different substrate textures/sensory areas to explore)

I care a lot about where he goes and want him to have a calm, proper home with someone who understands hamster care and enrichment needs. Syrian hamsters are solitary animals and must live alone.
