Purchased new in 2020 and raced in the 12-year-old Novice class for ONE season, most of its time was actually spent on pump tracks. It does have some stickers and minor cosmetic scratches from carting it back and forth in a gear bag, but it’s been In storage since then, waiting to see if younger sibling had an interest in racing.

I bought (2) identical helmets in sizes SMALL and MEDIUM at the same time, and I still trust and use mine (the medium) to this day.

Unlike cheap casual helmets, this model carries a full ASTM F1952 Downhill certification. This means the jaw and chin guard are explicitly impact-rated and legally approved for aggressive BMX racing tracks, bike parks, and downhill riding.

• Sanitation: The interior crown liner and both cheek pads are completely removable and can be thoroughly machine-washed, and sanitized for the next rider.
