ZelleSuper rare, fully custom, 49cm Calfee Tetra Pro carbon "travel bike"... with S&S stainless frame couplers.
This bike was special ordered from Calfee and designed specifically for cycle touring around the world. The frame easily breaks down into smaller pieces for packing and shipping as regular checked luggage--to avoid both damage and additional shipping charges.
Calfee is an American company that pioneered the use of carbon fiber in road racing frames in the 1980s... building the first carbon fiber bike frame ever used in the Tour de France (by Greg Lemond--in 1987--who won that Tour).
Since then Calfee has continued to innovate and build (mostly bespoke / custom) carbon road bike frames.
The frame measures +/- 49cm (both height and length) and was custom built for a petite female rider. Ideal rider height is in the 5'0 to 5'4" range... but could work for someone a bit smaller or a tad larger with some fitting.
The build kit is mainly Ultegra with an XT long cage rear derailleur for a wider cassette capacity (and durability) and FSA SLK carbon cranks, carbon bars, carbon seatpost, etc.
The saddle is a Selle Anatomica Titanico which is a Brooks type leather saddle designed for touring comfort / long days in the saddle. (I have a full bottle of conditioner / waterproofer for the saddle to keep it in good condition and extend the life.)
The wheels are 650c and I have extra tubes and tires for them. (4 brand new tires; 3 brand new tubes.)
This bike was WELL over $7500 new... (Calfee frames w/o the S&& couplers are $5000+ new.)

Having S&S couplers installed on a carbon frame adds around $1000.
If you're looking for a travel bike with couplers, you know just how hard they are to find. But a 49cm... is virtually impossible to find.
Of course this does not have to be a dedicated TRAVEL bike. It's a phenomenal road bike that's a joy to ride--and looks beautiful with the custom Calfee deep purpe metallic paint job. It's a 1 in a billion bike. You'll never see another one quite like it... because it is completely custom... special ordered.
