Authentic American dome-top steamer trunk dating from approximately 1895–1910, retaining its original decorative lithographed interior, wood slat exterior, and period lock hardware.

This example features the classic barrel-top form associated with late Victorian and early Edwardian rail and steamship travel. The interior retains its original faux-grain paper lining with colorful lithographic borders and inset portrait panels, an increasingly uncommon survival feature that adds significant decorative appeal. Main compartment made of poplar or pine.
