I'm selling my Craftsman 17", 16 Speed, 3/4 hp Drill Press with a 5/8" Chuck. This has been lightly used in my hobby machine shop, and has been in storage since September 2025 when I moved to a new residence. It is in excellent mechanical shape, but has a slight patina of rust in places on the support tube, which will come off with some steel wool and a bit of elbow grease. I mistakenly drilled two or three shallow holes into the top of the cast-iron table years ago, which has never hindered usage. I measured spindle run-out a couple of days ago and it is right at 0.001"...which is excellent. Chuck run-out is machinist grade at 0.001". Radial Quill Play is 0.0025". This has been excellent for me in both my hobby pursuits and prototyping, but my workshop is now smaller and I need a bench model. Since this is in my storage unit, to view it you'll need to call me ( I prefer you call to ensure that I make a timely response) and we'll make arrangements to meet at my storage unit before dark since it doesn't have lighting. This drill press will make a fine addition to your woodworking or metal-working shop and I am sorry I don't have room for it in my new residence. Cash only.
