Scout is 14.2 sorrel gelding that is very well broke. We have used him for herding cattle, ponying colts and trail riding. We were told the previous owners used him in the arena for cow horse events. His pedigree includes High Brow Cat, Peptoboonsmal, Smart Little Lena, and Doc’s Hickory.
He has a nice rein, stop, side pass, and backs up. He has some fancy buttons but is a little rusty. He’s very sure footed in the mountains and has good hard feet. He has never offered to buck, bite or kick.
He has a couple of little quirks. When putting the bridle over his ears, it needs to be loose until it’s over his ears. We give him dorm gel when he gets shoes. The only time he gets excited on the trail is when you separate from the other horses and he can’t see them.
Please, no low-ball offers, no payments, no trades.
