Selling this for my neighbor. It’s a 1985 BMW K100RS, all stock and original. He’s the 2nd owner and bought it in 2001. Last registered in 2021.
The bike has been sitting for around 10 years, but it ran when it was parked. Battery is currently dead, so it hasn’t been started recently. It’ll need the usual recommissioning before riding — fluids flushed, fuel system cleaned out, fresh battery, tires checked, etc.
The bike was laid down a long time ago, so the right-side fairings have scratches, but otherwise it’s a very complete and original bike.
This is a great barn find for someone looking for an older BMW project. My neighbor has simply gotten too old to ride and would rather see someone bring it back to life instead of letting it sit in the garage forever.
Price is OBO.
