VenmoThis hen is only a year and a half and so has many laying years ahead of her. She is beautiful and always catches people's eye when they come to visit. She's a rare schijndelaar hen. She does not lay the expected green or blue egg, but instead lays a large tinted egg. She is my most consistent layer spring thru fall and gives me 6-7 eggs per week. I was hoping to use her to make Easter Eggers, but unfortunately, she does not lay fertile eggs (reflected in her price). I need to make room for grow outs so my loss is your gain! She is good to free range, but also handles confinement well.
