Bronx is a 9-year-old American Hairless Terrier / American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a goofy personality, a big heart, and plenty of love left to give. Born on April Fool’s Day in 2017, he has spent his entire life with our family after being adopted at just 6 weeks old.
This decision has been incredibly difficult for us, but with multiple jobs and a new baby, we know Bronx deserves more time, attention, and freedom than we’re currently able to give him. Our priority is simply finding him a safe, loving home where he can truly thrive.
About Bronx - Male, neutered
- Medium-sized (~35 lbs)
- Up to date on shots
- House trained
- Good with dogs, although he hasn't had a lot of experience
- Great with older kids
- Athletic but also very chill at home
Bronx is adventurous, clever, playful, independent, and extremely food motivated. He loves running around outside, playing fetch, and then relaxing nearby once he’s gotten his energy out. He would do best with a backyard, some land, or an active family that can give him space to run and explore.
Bronx does well with older children, but struggles around babies and toddlers who don’t yet understand boundaries. Because of this, we believe he’d be happiest in a home with older kids or adults only.
He’s incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving once he trusts you, and we know the right home is out there for him.
We’ll send Bronx with everything we have for him, including:
- Beds & blankets
- Toys & supplies
- Leashes
- Sweaters/coats
- Food
- Optional 10’ sliding glass doggy door insert
He currently eats Iams Advanced Health Dry Dog Food, and a $60 36 lb bag lasts him around 3 months.
Bronx has been part of our family for nearly a decade, so this is not a decision we’ve taken lightly. We care deeply about where he ends up, and the adoption fee is negotiable because finding the right fit matters most to us.
We just want him to be loved, happy, and living a life full of fetch, naps, and attention he deserves. Willing to meet up to see if it's the right fit, message me with ANY questions.
