Labor Day Weekend September 4th - September 7th

Rendezvous Beach State Park

Friday, September 4, 2026

• 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm | Camp Setup
• Location: Willow B & C Group campsites.
• Note: While official setup begins at 3:00 pm, the ranger at the guard shack usually allows entry around 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
• Reservations: To reserve a spot within the group site, contact Brett Bingham at 801-815-2521 or email usabrettbingham@hotmail.com
• Availability: These spots are limited, so reserve yours soon!
• Fees: The $100.00 fee covers three nights of camping and dinner for Skipper and Crew. (Note: This does not include your race fee).
• Parking: Includes one parking pass for Labor Day weekend. Extra vehicles must be parked outside the park.
• 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm | Check-in & Registration
• Check-in and registration for buoy racing.
• 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm | Happy Hour
• 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm | Dinner
• Note: Everyone is responsible for providing their own dinner on Friday night.
• 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm | Social Gathering
• Gathering around the campfire. Please bring some firewood to share!

Saturday, September 5, 2026

• 10:00 am – 10:30 am | Skippers’ Meeting
• 10:30 am – 12:00 pm | Rigging & Tuning
• Time to prepare and tune your boats for the day’s racing.
• 12:00 pm | Head Out to the Racecourse
• Be ready to head out for buoy racing with Hobie Fleet 67.

1:00 pm – 4:30 pm - Buoy Racing

• 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm - Free Time & Happy Hour
• 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm - Italian Dinner Beachside
• Dinner is provided by the Utah Sailing Association.
• RSVP Required: Please email Brett Bingham at usabrettbingham@hotmail.com with your party size and the side item you plan to bring.
• Suggested Sides: Salad, appetizers, garlic bread, vegetable tray, fruit tray, dessert, or s'mores items.
• Non-Campers: If you are not camping but wish to join the dinner, please bring a side dish OR a contribution of $15 per couple / $20 per family.
• 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm - Campfire Social
• Join us around the fire! Please bring some firewood to share.

Sunday, September 6, 2026

• Dinner will be served Sunday afternoon following the races. Please email Brett Bingham @ usabrettbingham@hotmail.com for a copy of the electronic signup sheet. A headcount is essential for planning.
• Cost: If you are not bringing an item from the signup sheet, the cost is $5 per person.

• 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm - Awards Ceremony
• 8:00 pm – 10:00 pm - Campfire Social

Monday, September 7, 2026

• 8:00 am – 3:30 pm - Cleanup & Break Camp
• Please ensure your campsite is clean before heading out.
• Day-Use Transition
• If you plan on spending the rest of the day at the park, please move your vehicles and gear to the day-use area to allow for camp turnover.

Fees & Lodging Information

• Utah Sailing Association Camping Package: $100.00
• Includes three nights of camping and dinner for Skipper and Crew.
• Facilities: The group site is dry camping only (no full hookups).

• Dinner-Only Option:
• If you are not camping but would like to join the dinner party, please bring a side item OR payment of $15 per couple / $20 per family.
• Payment: If not paid in advance, please bring cash.

• Book an Airbnb: Check for local short-term rentals in the Garden City area.
