This boat has been so much fun for our family. We've owned it now close to 10 years and made lots of memories. I included some of them in the photo collage. This was our third boat, and after having significant mechanical problems with different outdrive types, I decided to try the jet boat world. This thing has been so great and so reliable. Once we sucked up a rope but still had one engine to get us home. It's easy to change the oil and easy to prepare for freezing temperatures.
It has tons of space for large groups and has been great to take on vacations, but we've mostly used it at Pineview, we live about five minutes away. We've had a lot of use out of it and have taken good care of the mechanical systems.
A few things people new to jet boats don't always know about. There's no prop, so it's a lot safer with kids swimming around the back, and you can pull right up to the beach in really shallow water without worrying about hitting bottom. The twin Yamaha 1.8L engines have a great reputation for reliability, and the throttle response is instant since the thrust comes from inside the hull. It also has a no-wake mode that makes it easy to creep along at trolling speeds or pull into a crowded dock.
The upholstery has had some wear and tear and there are some cometic type things. We've replaced a number of the cushions, but there is still some work to be done depending on how nice you want it to look inside.
It makes a great wakeboard wake, has cruise control, and you can surf behind it while holding onto a rope. If you hop on YouTube, you can see that some people have figured out ways to make it ropeless with additional ballast.
Great Powell, Bear Lake, Pineview, or Jordanelle boat. Easy to tow, easy to launch, easy to maintain. Perfect family boat or first jet boat. Really solid when a storm hits and you hit big waves.
It was time for us to move on and upgrade.
Priced to sell $22,500. Cash or cashier's check. Will not hold without a deposit.
