VenmoHey everyone! My husband and I are starting a small local aquarium plant tissue culture project called PetriPlants, and we’re excited to finally share some of our first plants.
Our plants are grown in sterile tissue culture cups in our home lab. It’s just me and my husband right now, so we’re keeping things small. Our tissue culture plants are clean, pest-free, and don’t come with snails, algae, or other hitchhikers.
As we’re getting started, we wanted to gauge interest and get feedback from local hobbyists, so we’re putting out a small batch of sample cups for $5 each. These first releases are small trial batches while we see what people are most interested in and finish getting our store set up.
We’re already working toward offering 20+ types of aquarium plants, and we’ll release small sampler batches as each new batch becomes ready. For this first set, we’ll have about 25 sample cups of each plant available.

We’re only selling locally at first. We’re located in Provo and doing local pickup only for now.
