GooglePayThis is a lazy susan made by Digsmed of Denmark, dated 1964 — stamped and authenticated on the bottom with the original Viking/crown logo.
This is the desirable two-tier design featuring:
• Large rotating lower tray (~18” diameter) with 10 carved circular pockets for wine glasses or small bowls
• Smaller fixed upper tray (~10” diameter) with beautiful concentric ring detail
• Solid teak wood with rich, warm grain throughout
• Smooth-spinning bearing mechanism still works great
Digsmed was a small Danish company that produced high-end Scandinavian Modern housewares in the 1960s–70s and stopped production around 1975, making these increasingly hard to find.
This piece is in excellent vintage condition — great color, no cracks, no warping. A true mid-century modern collectible that’s also completely functional. Perfect as a centerpiece for entertaining or as a display piece. Great for fans of Danish Modern, MCM design, or Scandinavian decor. These regularly sell for $150–$300+ on Chairish and Etsy.
