Hi,

I’m looking for a temporary home for my cat, Gandalf, from June 1st through August 1st while I travel outside the country.

Gandalf is an 10-year-old domestic short hair (his birthday is June 21st). I adopted him when he was 6 months old, and he has always been an indoor-only cat. He is very gentle and not aggressive at all, but he is naturally an anxious and cautious cat. He’s the type to hide under the couch when the doorbell rings, and sudden movements can startle him easily. Once he settles in, though, he does very well.

In past years, I’ve had him stay with other families while I traveled internationally, and he adjusted well each time. I would especially love to find someone who already has cat(s), since I think that environment helps him feel more comfortable and normal.

I will provide everything he needs, including: • Dry food and wet food • Litter and litter box • Cat tree • Toys • Grooming wipes, brush, and nail clippers

I am also offering $1000 for his care during this time.
