Up for sale is a striking, classic neo-vintage Tudor Prince Date midsize classic in two-tone stainless steel and yellow gold. This reference features a highly sought-after, radiant gold linen texture dial accented by factory diamond hour markers and a matching fluted bezel. Based on the 187,XXX serial number, this piece dates back to circa 1988, bridging the late Oysterdate era with the crisp "Prince Date" dial presentation. It comes mounted on its original signed Tudor two-tone jubilee-style bracelet (62453 with 625 end links).
Bracelet should fit up to 6.5” wrist
Condition: Bezel: Fluted yellow gold bezel remains sharp with excellent definition and minimal softening. Crystal: Crisp sapphire crystal with no notable deep scratches, nicks, or chips. The date cyclops is clear and free of significant edge wear. Case: Clean lines with strong lug profiles. Shows light, honest hairline surface swirls and minor scuffs from periodic wear Bracelet/Clasp: Clasp shows standard desk-diving marks but retains a clear, defined Tudor shield emblem. Links exhibit minimal stretch for its age.
Authenticity & Movement Health: Movement is the legendary, robust Tudor-modified ETA 2824-2. Fully verified for authenticity and top-tier performance: Beat Rate: Timegrapher confirms a rock-solid 28,800 VPH (4Hz) beat rate. Performance: Running flawlessly at an incredible 0 s/d dial-up on the Weishi 1900, showing an exceptionally clean trace line with a robust 275° amplitude and a near-perfect 0.1ms beat error. Needs absolutely nothing.
Specs: Size: 32mm diameter (excluding crown) / 17mm lug width. Great unisex presence. Movement: Automatic Tudor/ETA Calibre 2824-2 with quickset date module. Depth: Originally rated for 100m (vintage piece; depth rating not guaranteed without a fresh pressure test). Power Reserve: ~38–40 hours. Includes: Watch only on original two-tone bracelet.
