Arlo is a 2-year-old neutered male Cavapoo. He’s roughly 20lbs, low-shedding (some might say hypoallergenic), and up to date on vaccinations.

Arlo has spent the last month in professional training with me (Salt City K9) after it became clear he was not the right fit for a busy home with young children.

Since coming into training, Arlo has made excellent progress.

He is crate trained, settles quietly (no separation anxiety). He walks nicely on leash, enjoys neighborhood walks and hiking adventures, and has accompanied me to busy public places including City Creek, Liberty Park, and Sugar House Park. He also goes with me to training sessions around other people and dogs and does fine.

He is Ecollar trained, understands structure well, and responds to:

• Place
• Kennel
• Sit
• Down
• Off
• Heel
• Come

Arlo is going to do best in an adult-only home or with older respectful teens. He barks at new people but settles down pretty quick if structured is maintained in the home. He's not a social butterfly and is happier when people ignore him.

Arlo is a Doodle and will require regular grooming maintenance every 4-6weeks. He recently did very well with professional grooming (shout out to Juliana at Zen Tails Grooming in West Jordan). He has a short coat right now.

To help ensure success, Arlo’s adoption will include:

• Ecollar
• THREE private training sessions
• Training support for 6 months
