ApplePayThis is a solid-wood desk (no plywood), however it is quite light and easy to move around. I think it's probably made of pine, balsa, or basswood.
Great little desk! It's been in my family for 55 years. My mom bought this new when she was in college in her early 20s. I stripped it and refinished it years ago.
We just don't need it and we're repurposing a study so it needs to go.
It is 29.5 inches high. It has 7 drawers. It looks like it has 9 drawers, but that' just an illusion - the bottom drawer on each side is double height.
