I’m looking for one more person to potentially help build a business with us.
I already have a buddy involved, and between the two of us we have a solid mix of business, operations, hands-on experience, AI implementation, finance, merchant services, and fabrication ability. He’s a welder by trade and currently has access to welding equipment, which gives us some real practical capability from the start.
The goal is to form the right small founding team first, then decide together what we want to build.
I’m personally most interested in a product-based business, especially something practical, hands-on, outdoor-related, tool-related, equipment-related, or something that solves a real problem people already deal with.
We’re also open to service-based ideas if they make sense, especially if they could help fund the bigger product direction early on. But the bigger interest is building something we can eventually turn into a real brand, product line, or scalable company.
I would be leading the business as founder/CEO, with a focus on strategy, finances, marketing, sales, AI implementation, systems, and overall direction.
My buddy would help lead operations, execution, fabrication, and the practical side of getting things done.
The right third person would ideally bring another strong skill set around product, hands-on building, prototyping, equipment, design, technical problem-solving, manufacturing, sourcing, trades, or just the kind of work ethic needed to help turn ideas into something real.
This would be bootstrapped in the beginning. Low cost. Scrappy. Build it ourselves where possible. Test quickly. Avoid overcomplicating it. Move with common sense.
We’re not looking for someone to save the idea or tell us what business to start. We’re looking for the right person to help choose the direction with us and then actually build it.
Best meeting times would usually be at night after kids are in bed, though I have daytime flexibility too.
This would need to be a serious working relationship. Time, skill, effort, and startup costs would all matter, and any equity, compensation, or profit share would depend on the role, contribution, and fit.
If this sounds like something you’d seriously want to explore, shoot me a message.
