Gorgeous 4-Year-Old All-Around Mare | Ranch, Reining & Trail Prospect

Kimber is a beautiful 4-year-old mare standing between 14.2-14.3 hands with a kind, levelheaded personality and all the athletic ability to go in any direction. She’s the type of horse that’s easy to love, quiet-minded, willing, and always tries her best.

She was started as a 2-year-old and has continued to progress with consistent riding and showing. Kimber is soft in the face, collected, drives from her hindquarters, moves well off your legs, side passes, knows her voice cues, and picks up both leads and lopes off with ease.

She has had 5 months of professional reining training, and is developing beautiful circles and rundowns. Kimber has been part of our riding club for the past two years and has been hauled to numerous local open shows. She has consistently placed 1st in Western Pleasure and has also placed well in Ranch Riding and Reining. She handles the show environment exceptionally well hauls quietly, eats and drinks at shows, and settles in like a seasoned horse.

If trail riding is your thing, Kimber truly shines. She is hands down one of the best trail horses I’ve owned. Point her where you want to go, and she’ll take you there with confidence. She carefully navigates rough terrain, crosses water, steps over deadfall, and is happy riding alone or with a group. She’s been on several camping trips and stands tied to a tree overnight without any issues.

Kimber has excellent ground manners, trailers and hauls great, isn’t spooky, and will confidently pack a flag. She’s also been exposed to cattle and has shown a lot of natural cow sense. I truly believe she has the talent to make an outstanding cow horse with more time, while also excelling as a ranch horse, pleasure horse, or all-around performance mare.

She is current on vaccines, dental care, and shoeing, is sound, and is 5-panel negative by parentage.

Kimber is only available because I’m working full time and want to focus my time on my upcoming 2-year-old. This decision has absolutely nothing to do with her quality.
