VenmoWe have made the tough decision to rehome our 5 month old rough coat collie/lab mix puppy Moose. My health has taken a turn and we are just no longer able to give him the exercise or mental stimulation his breed needs and that he deserves.
Located: Pleasant Grove UT
Moose is a sweetheart but does get shy/nervous around new people and animals. Not in a reactive way but he did nervous pee a few times the first few weeks we had him so it may take him a moment to accommodate!
He LOVES people once he's comfortable and wants to be as close as possible to cuddle! He's good with all ages! He does well with other dogs, and loves to play! We haven't really tested any other animals
We used to be able to take him out frequently to run around, to dog parks, play fetch (which is his favorite), tug-of-war and on walks. So we are looking for a home that is more active for his breed or has a backyard he can run in!
With training, he knows sit, lay, lets eat, crate, come and break (specifically to release from the kennel) and we were working on wait (which he's okay at), place, and being invited before hoping on or off the couch or bed! He's potty trained but will have some accidents if not let out frequently (he is a puppy). He's not perfect but he's still learning as he is just a puppy!
He's UTD on shots and he is not neutered (due to being too young).
We are having a rehoming fee of $100, it is negotiable though as we simply want him to go to a good home!
We will give his collar, leash, crate and slow feeder/ bowl
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
