PayPalRAMP was a ski company based out of Park City Utah that made skis in the USA for about 5 years. They closed in 2016. I hadn’t heard about these skis until I came across a few in my searches. Online reviews are mixed about these ski. They are vacuum molded, have a really thick core of bamboo, and used eco friendly resin.
This pair I believe was an early demo or test pair for their USA made stuff because it has no printed graphic. It could be an earlier Taiwan pair, but I doubt it due to the “Made in USA” sticker. It appears to be a pretty primitive design thar pays homage to some of the tall, long, and simple boards of the 1990s.
Now is your chance to ski a pair if you weren’t able to when they were still a brand, or this is just a great pair to own for the collector of American ski industry history.
These have been drilled twice before, the base are pretty beat and need a tune. The tail on each is showing some of the edge clearing under the ptex. There are a few discolored spots on the topsheets.
KSL Classifieds makes it easy to buy and sell with peace of mind. Check our safety tips and quickly report anything that doesn’t look right to keep your experience smooth and secure.
