We're heartbroken to need to rehome our sweet Remi girl. She is such a sweetheart to her people, loves belly rubs, and will lay in your lap for as long as you let her. She is spayed and just turned 5. Her absolute favorite thing to do is swim, and she loves hiking and camping. She would absolutely thrive with someone who loves taking their dog on adventures. She’s great on a leash, knows basic commands, and is an amazing companion. Unfortunately, Remi has a strong, instinctual prey drive. We've worked hard on training, but it is deeply ingrained in her. We have a 10-month-old baby who is now crawling and learning to walk, and Remi has started tracking him. Because of this prey drive, it is no longer safe to keep her in our home with our child or our cats. Remi has never shown anger or aggression toward a person; she is truly a sweet girl, but her hunting instincts mean she cannot be around small animals or kids. She is also very selective about other dogs. While she loves the dog we live with, she does not get along with extended family dogs, so she must go to a home where she can be the only pet. She will be an incredible, loyal sidekick for an active, adult-only or older kid home. $75 rehoming fee just to ensure she goes to a safe, committed home
