This listing is for a Ford F-550 Super Duty flatbed tow truck. It features a wheel lift and a utility storage box on the side.
The Good: Great running and hard working old truck. The bed and wheel lift work as they should. The truck has like 292K but the engine was replaced and has about 165K miles. Good tires all the way around. I believe it is a 19' bed and will haul a crew cab long bed truck (barely)!
The Bad: I have not been able to recreate it for over a year but the truck had an intermittent problem where it would just die and not start. Wiggling wire harnesses by the driver's side battery would bring it back to life. Never could get it to do it when I wanted to diagnose the issue. It has been parked a lot and only gets run every couple of months since then. Don't know but that problem may come back if put into daily use. This is the reason the price is $3k lower than what I think it's worth. Also has a couple of small hydraulic leaks and the steering gear leaks.
