This is a fantastic downcountry machine that climbs like a friggin billy goat. With 130mm travel front, 120mm rear, it's the perfect combo of a lightweight XC bike and an extremely capable trail bike. Scott's amazing 3-stage lockout system (2 of the 3 levers on the left bar) lets you go from fully locked out to full travel to something in between with the push of a button. It's got ultimate ability to adjust to the terrain. There's a reason Scott Sparks have won most of the UCI world championships in recent history. This is a very practical build that has some great components where you want them, all at an approachable price point. Do you really need carbon and full XTR? (Answer: no!)
