We are looking for the right forever home for our small dog, Rosie. We adopted Rosie from an animal shelter hoping we would be the perfect fit for her, but after giving it time, we don’t feel we can provide the lifestyle and attention she truly deserves.
Rosie is estimated to be around 2 years old, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is a terrier mix and probably 6-7lbs.
She is playful, affectionate, treat-motivated, and loves to snuggle under blankets with her person. Rosie is wonderful with kids and people and really thrives being the center of someone’s world. She is not an excessive barker.
Rosie would do best as an only dog. She does have some food/treat aggression with other dogs, which has improved with time and training, but my dogs still do not get along with her because of it.
She also has separation anxiety, so we do not kennel her. She has improved a lot since being with us, especially when she can look out a window while we’re away, but she may still whine when left alone, especially while adjusting to a new home. Because of this, she likely would not do well in an apartment setting.
We truly believe Rosie would thrive with someone retired, someone home often, or someone looking for a very loyal companion dog. She bonds deeply with her person and just wants to be close to them.
Our goal is to find Rosie a loving, patient forever home where she can get the time and attention she deserves.
Rehoming fee: $100
