GooglePayIf your family's idea of a good weekend involves a trailhead, a lake, or a tailgate, this is the dog you've been picturing.
The Bernese Mountain Pointer is a first-generation cross between two of the finest breeds ever developed — the German Shorthaired Pointer and the Bernese Mountain Dog. From the Bernese: loyalty, gentleness, and that steady mountain-dog presence. From the GSP: drive, intelligence, and the stamina to keep up with anything the Wasatch can throw at you.
These aren't dogs built for an apartment or a backyard alone. They're built for families who actually enjoy the outdoors — hiking, hunting, camping, or just keeping pace with kids who never sit still. Smart enough to train fast. Sturdy enough for the trail. Devoted enough to be the dog people remember for the rest of their lives.
BONUS: Caring for 17 puppies at once, and providing a safe, clean environment, is not easy! These puppies are not only cared for, they are loved and a part of our family. Our teenagers and our friends interact with them daily. They even do YOGA! But, the best thing we learned was "potty training" them from day one with a LITTER BOX! Not Cat Litter... Alfalfa Pellets. Clean and absorbent, it trains them early to do their business outside on grass, not the kitchen floor. You will appreciate that early training.
Some of this litter has already found homes through word of mouth alone — before we even posted here.
Once people meet one of these puppies, they understand why.
14 of 17 puppies remain. $200 reservation, $800 to bring one home, ready to go home June 27.
