Selling two intact male llamas, both are 7 years old, 49 inches to shoulder, and not registered. They are both fully trained pack llamas, originally trained and bought from Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas. We bought them for hiking and hunting, and they are just not used anymore, no event has caused us to sell them.

They trailer and hike like champions, you can tell that they love it. These were our first llamas, and they served us well. Never had any freak outs in the mountains, and did really well leading and helped us learn. They are not super friendly, so nothing that would do well in a petting zoo, but would be good for beginner packers or adding to a herd. They have been exposed to cows, horses, and do well around dogs(they don’t try to kill them). The heavier one we considered to be a breeding stud, but we are just not llama people. Because we are getting out of llamas, we are selling these two, 4 saddles, 2 pads, 6 bags, panniers, 2 halters, 4 lead ropes, a training pad, 2 rain covers, and a llama chute. All pictures are included and are being sold as a whole package for $6500 or each llama for $2500

They are currently a little out of practice, as they have really taken up the back burner. They don’t really love to be caught right now and do alright with the halters. Nothing that going to a more consistent owner can’t solve.
