Absolutely best family dogs!! Reason for Listing- I do not have a strong enough pack of dogs that are trash broke to know what these dogs are out doing. So everytime I turn loose it's a real toss up. I think a person could work them and really turn them into something, MAYBE.... I want them taken care of. They have been my little buddies, but I can't handle them or hunt them like they should probably be hunted.

Beautiful dogs, absolutely great around people. Bonnie (2 years old) almost looks like a black and tan is spayed And June (4.5 years old) dark blue and black, is fully intact but has never had a litter. They have been hunted a lot. mostly bears and coons. They have quite a few quirks. i will list all the bad and all the good I can think of. I am not a dog trader. I just want these dogs to go to someone who isn't going to starve or miss treat them. They will hunt and they will hunt all day. not necessarily on the right game. They are both super trashy but man they can burn a track down.they have helped on bears but I can't be for certain they actually pushed it up the tree. They have caught coons. We camp with them all year long. they are pretty quite dogs and they do know what SHUT UP means.

the bad let's get that out of the way.

• they are a little growly Towards other dogs but they tend to be ok.
• they are trashy ( running off game
• both are super independent.
• they will get possessive of the tree.

the good

• fastest dogs I've ever seen push a track
• once they figure out something is in the tree they tree hard.
• both will rig a bear. And any off game in the area. ( mostly they just bark at whatever they smell)
• recall is top notch I've called these dogs back from over 1/2 A mile away. With tone and whistle.
• great at back tracking there way out of an area.
• will show back up to last place dropped off.
• they have a huge motor!! Very calm around you. But will run 13-20 miles without a problem.
• Both were raised around kids
