VenmoAKA: Professional Snuggler, Full-Time Velcro Dog, Part-Time Chaos Goblin
Finn is believed to be an 11–12 month old toy aussiedoodle mix weighing about 14 pounds, and he is looking for a forever home that will love his sweet little shadow-dog personality as much as we do.
This boy is SO sweet. Finn wants to be wherever you are at all times. Bathroom trip? He’s coming. Folding laundry? He’s supervising. Sitting on the couch? Excellent, he’ll be directly attached to your side. He absolutely loves cuddles, kisses, naps, and bedtime snuggles.
He also has plenty of young-dog energy and loves zoomies, toys, and chewing on his beloved Nylabones. When he plays by himself he looks ridiculously happy and adorable. One of his favorite hobbies is scratching his butt on our cat tower like it’s a personal spa treatment. It’s impossible not to laugh.
Finn gets along great with our other small dogs and does well with our cat (mostly because he desperately wants the cat to participate in his fun activities). Large dogs intimidate him, so he would do best with dogs closer to his own size. He’s also a little unaware of personal space and has accidentally bulldozed our chihuahua more than once.
He knows “sit” and “wait,” and he’s extremely smart and eager to learn. He actually learned “wait” just from watching my other dogs. With more time and consistency, he’s going to thrive.
Finn is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations through the Humane Society of Utah. His tail appears to have been broken and healed oddly before we found him, but the vet said it shouldn’t cause future issues.
Now for the honest part: Finn does struggle with pretty significant separation anxiety, likely due to being abandoned by his previous family. Because of this, he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the day — work from home, retired, stay-at-home parent, etc. He is partially crate trained and partially house trained. Since being neutered, accidents have improved a lot, but he still needs consistency and patience. We currently use washable dog diapers for him, and those will be included. I think he would do wonderfully with a dog door and a predictable routine.
Finn’s story started rough. He was found wandering in Saratoga Springs covered in burrs, mats, twigs, and smelling heavily of urine. After no owner came forward during the required hold period through Northern Utah County Animal Control, we moved forward with getting him fully vetted and cared for ourselves. We’ve had him since the end of January and have worked hard to get him healthy, safe, and ready for a real forever home.
This has honestly been a difficult decision because he is such a loving little dog, but with three dogs already and finances being tight, I know he deserves a family that can give him more dedicated time and attention than I realistically can long term.
Finn will come with: Toys Food we currently have for him Harness & leash Washable diapers Pajamas Jacket Unlimited emotional support supervisor services
His adoption fee is a negotiable $500 to help cover his neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip, food, and care costs.
If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate little best friend who will love you with his entire tiny body, Finn may be your perfect match. ️
