Meet Luna!

Luna is an almost 5-year-old purebred AKC-registered Pomeranian looking for a quieter home where she can truly thrive.

She is incredibly sweet, very obedient, and loves her people. Luna listens well and has been a wonderful companion since we brought her home at 8 weeks old. This decision has not been made lightly, but after alot of thought, we feel she would be happiest in a calmer environment than we can currently provide.

Luna is an anxious dog and tends to lick things when nervous. She can also become overstimulated in busy situations, especially with loud activity, other dogs constantly bothering her, or children overwhelming her. In those moments she may growl as a warning, but she has never bitten anyone. She can also be protective of food around other animals, though she has never shown issues with people.

We’ve tried spaying her, calming chews, anxiety wraps, and even prescription medication, but we truly believe the best thing for Luna is a peaceful home with fewer stressors. She would likely do best in a home with minimal other pets and either no children or calm, respectful older children. We are unsure about cats, though she seems more playful/curious than aggressive toward them.

Luna was unfortunately shaved in the past and appears to have developed some alopecia afterward, which can happen in Pomeranians. Thankfully, her coat does seem to be improving and growing back over time.

This is an extremely difficult decision because we love her dearly and simply want her to have the happiest life possible.

A rehoming fee will apply to help ensure she goes to a loving and responsible home.
