Full Description: Bullseye is a 10-year-old draft cross gelding standing around 14hh with a thick, sturdy build and the kind of endurance to go all day. He’s broke to ride both under saddle and bareback and is suitable for beginner to intermediate riders. Gentle, dependable, and exceptionally easy to keep, Bullseye is healthy, low-maintenance, and as kind as they come.
He has a solid handle and knows more than just the basics. Bullseye neck reins, side passes, and can independently yield both his front and hindquarters. He lopes collected circles, picks up both leads easily, and can even switch leads mid-stride. While he’s not a speed horse, he is strong, willing, and extremely sure-footed both in the arena and out on the trail.
Bullseye has been ranch roped off of and has started driving work. He ground drives well and responds correctly to “haw” and “gee.” He loads and hauls easily, backs out of trailers, stands great for the farrier, and wears a size 2 shoe. He crosses water without hesitation, ponies other horses, ground ties, and will stand tied quietly all day.
In the pasture, Bullseye tends to sit at the top of the pecking order but is not aggressive or looking for trouble. He gets along well with other horses and adapts easily to different environments.
If you’re looking for a dependable ranch horse, family horse, or lesson horse for intermediate riders, Bullseye is the kind that’s hard to find. Safe, versatile, and honest — come check him out.
