VenmoIs there another one of these on the planet in this condition? Probably not, unless the Michael Kelly people kept one in storage for themselves.
In 2007, I was looking for the most beautiful guitar I could find in the mid-price range. I found this Michael Kelly Patriot Glory with a smoke burst or "black fade" finish. It's stunning. The finish looks like a chinchilla. It has an intricate fretboard inlay that was inspired by an etching on an antique pistol. It has custom knobs and custom pickup covers that match the inlay. It has Grover tuners and Rockford pickups. I once read that only 500 were made with this finish. It's been many years since they've been available as new guitars. I've treated this instrument as the work of art that it is. It's barely been touched. It has no scratches and no dents. It does have some very tiny recesses--factory imperfections that you can't really see unless you're trying to find them. It's mostly stayed in its branded hard case (included) or covered on a guitar stand. There's a small light streak on one of the pickup covers; another factory birthmark. There's a small amount of grunge on the pickup covers, which I assume can be wiped off with a soft dry cloth when the strings are changed. Overall, this is "like new," and it's an incredible opportunity to own a gorgeous 20-year-old limited run guitar with no scratches.
Owning this would be like getting a guitar in superb condition from a time capsule. Thank you for looking.
