PayPalThese walnut AL5-spec Klipsch LaScalas are as close to brand-new as you can get, as they are still breaking in and have maybe 20 or 30 gentle hours on them. I bought them two months ago from a Klipsch Heritage dealer in Wisconsin after selling my used (to me) Forte IIIs and brand-new walnut Cornwall IVs (same dealer) a few months prior.
I absolutely love these things, especially with the REL Tangerine Dream Orange T/9x SE sub in play (also for sale), but I have a really large space (two levels, vaulted ceilings and maybe 1300 square feet) and have for years harbored a serious curiosity about the Klipsch Heritage Jubilees (I don’t have proper corners for K-horns)…so I bit the bullet and bought a pair of 75thAnniverary Jubies that are just out of this world. So the La Scalas need a new home.
Note that they are a mis-matched pair; one is a perfect A-stock example, with beautiful matched grain, the other a B-stock example with a veneer flaw along the bottom of one side (see image). You can’t see it in my setup, as they’re snugged up against the cabinet, and since they were discounted quite nicely from the $14,000 or so they cost new, for me they were a fabulous buy. If standing next to your speakers and gazing at them while you play music is your thing, please pass me by…or if you plan to have them be visible from 3 sides and you’re worried folks will think you have poor taste, ditto. For everyone else, these are truly world-class speakers for a great price…easily a 9.95 out of 10 in terms of condition.
They will also come with a pair of lambswool grilles, too, a $400 value.
The speakers are located in SLC, Utah, and as I have a home in Los Angeles, too, I can deliver them anywhere between, say, Boise, Idaho and So Cal...so, southern Utah, Vegas, etc. That’ll save tons on shipping if you’re not nearby.
Not interested in trades of any sort, and for those in Utah who’d like to demo them, I’m happy to do it. Cash is king, but I’ll also take Venmo or PayPal, and please, no low-ballers. I am in no hurry here. Thanks for looking!
