Selling my custom-rebuilt 1950s Canned Ham camper. Rebuilt in 2023 using all new materials on a new trailer base, with the original vintage shell. Lightweight, easy to tow, and loaded with upgrades.
Key Features • 2023 rebuild: all new interior wood, wiring, and frame — no old rot. • Solar setup (worth $1,600+): two 300W panels, SOK 25.6V/100Ah battery ($650), MPP PIP charger/inverter ($500). • Kitchen upgrades ($1,450+): propane stove/oven ($450) + Dometic fridge/freezer (~$1,000). • Lightweight: ~12 ft long, 1,500–1,750 lbs — towed easily with my Mazda CX-5.
️ Condition DIY rebuild with cosmetic imperfections (exterior needs refinishing, interior has “DIY charm”), but structurally solid and fully functional
Price $6,950 for the full package (trailer + all upgrades). Upgrades alone are worth over $2,600. Open to reasonable offers, but no trades or lowballs.
I’ve put a lot of time and care into this project — just haven’t used it enough. More photos/videos available. Thanks!
