PayPalThis is a great trail bike for someone who wants confidence on the descents and the reliability of a well-known brand and design. This bike is stout and will last you a long time.
This is my wife's bike. We bought it new from Bingham Cyclery in 2018. She's put maybe 300 miles on it in 8 years, 280 of which have been in Corner Canyon :).
We put a new front fork on it in 2021.
It's a RockShox 140mm travel.
Rear Shock: Fox Float 3 Position Lockout
Wheels: Roval Traverse alloy
Derailleur: SRAM GX
Shifters: SRAM NX
Chainring: 28T RaceFace
Dropper Post: KS Lev
Brakes: Shimano M506
11 speed
Tubeless setup
We put new tires on 2 years ago and they have maybe 20 miles on them.
This size frame would work well for someone just under 5' tall to about 5'5". My wife is 5' with a 27" inseam.
Damage
- A small rock chip on the left triangle (pictured)
- Some cable rub on the downtube near the bottom bracket (pictured)
- Scratches on the derailleur (pictured)
Everything works flawlessly. I'm guessing that's due to the fact she didn't ride it much.
