We have not seen any aggression towards us even with the spring hormones he has flowing. They are a multipurpose bird laying 250 large tinted eggs each year.

Sulmtaler We have 4 Sulmtaler hens in with our Bresse flock in hopes of having hybrid vigor. The Sulmtaler is a rare and ancient chicken breed from the Styrian region of Austria. It is reputed to be one of the tastiest chickens in the world although it is also well regarded for its egg-laying ability. Once considered a delicacy in the royal Austrian and French courts, today Sulmtalers remain a favorite for gourmands in Central Europe.
