1982 GL1100 You want something affordable and reliable that you won’t outgrow next season. She wants something comfortable to sit on for long rides.

I already have a street bike and several dirt bikes and need to part ways with this one as it’s taking up my garage space.

Classic 80s style and very smooth to ride. This is an old bike and has some quirks but overall is in good shape. There are a few tears in the upholstery, a couple of places where the clearcoat is peeling, etc.

Here’s a list of what improvements I have done since I obtained the bike:

• Brand new battery (AGM)\
• Air suspension delete\
• Fresh oil change\
• Yellow stator wire fix\
• Cleaned out the fuel tank\
• I rebuilt the carburetors but could not get them to stop leaking. I put on a VW 34PICT–3 carburetor and the bike runs wonderfully. The stock carburetors are here and available for you to take as well.\
• Rebuilt the starter motor with new brushes\
• Brand new petcock\
• Brand new fuel pump

The bike starts and drives but needs a few things: -Air filter -New front tire, it leaks and has developed a crease -the rear brakes are being worked on currently. The caliper was seized, and I have been trying to rebuild it. -the horn and turn signals don’t seem to be working, but I haven’t dug into that yet. I’m sure it’s a minor electrical issue.
