PayPalMeet Lulu, a loving and playful aussie doodle with a hypoallergenic coat, up to date on all vaccines and spayed. She’s a delight to us, but unfortunately our neurodivergent grandchildren have found her energy overwhelming at times.
Lulu loves to cuddle and adores following her favorite person around the house, sitting on their lap or at their feet. She’s smart and a graduate of a Petco obedience class! When excited, she sometimes struggles to remember her training. While she tends to bark at people and dogs she meets for the first time, with a minute or two to warm up, she’s happy to spend time with anyone—adults, children, dogs, and cats. Because she has so much energy and is always ready to play, cats and small children can feel overwhelmed by Lulu. They can get overwhelmed by the barking and jumping. On the other hand, Lulu has helped older dogs remember the joy of playing like a puppy. She gets along well with her cousins (the picture of three dogs). She would probably love to go to a home with a dog friend to play with.
Lulu’s favorite game is a combination of fetch and tug-of-war. Although she hasn’t been leash trained yet, Lulu would love walks! She does just fine without them, though, when she has a backyard. Lulu is potty trained, but like many girls, she prefers to go use the bathroom with some pals. As long as she knows one of her humans is outside with her, she’s happy to race around a backyard and play. She’s crate trained and happy to be in her crate at night as long as she knows there’s a human in the room too.
Lulu is an excellent alarm dog; if anyone knocks on a door or enters the home, she’ll be sure to let everyone know. She also tends to whine when she wants something—like to follow her favorite person into a room or to greet a stranger.
