Asher is a 2022 bay gelding who was rescued from a Texas auction. Now, he has a solid Liberty foundation and a promising future. He is currently in professional training and in the process of being saddle broke. Having a few rides under saddle taking a slow pace with Asher is progress. Asher is a naturally shy horse while being a little spooky and will do best with a confident, consistent handler who gives clear direction and asks direct questions. Asher has a lengthy running bred or English bred build and loves to bond with new people who do not make him feel less than. Asher loves baths and Alfalfa pellets are the only treat he accepts. With that type of guidance, he continues to make steady progress. He stands politely for the farrier and veterinarian, loads and hauls in a trailer, and is accustomed to routine handling. Asher is well maintained and fully up to date on teeth floating, hoof care, vaccinations, and deworming. This young gelding is an excellent prospect for someone looking to continue his training and develop him in the discipline of their choice.
