VenmoSuper buttery smooth Jamis Quest steel framed road bike for sale.
55cm frame size
Mostly Shimano 105 groupset. (Crankset was swapped out to a 2x SRAM Rival from a 3x. Left shifter is still a 3x.)
Nice, lightweight Easton wheelset, stem, bars, and seatpost.
This a great little commuter / college bike. Not too expensive so if some homeless crackhead steals it you're not gonna cry too hard.
As with most steel framed road bikes, the ride is every smooth and supple... not harsh like aluminum frames (and even some carbon ones).
Could be a great touring bike--that's now called "bike-packing" and the cool kids are using gravel bikes or mountain bikes for that nowadays... with disc brakes... running 40 to 50 mm tires. But theres definitely still a pretty solid steel fan club for traditional touring.
I love this bike but I just have a few too many at the moment so she doesn't get ridden as often as it should. So I'm gonna let her go.
Condition is great. Tune is great. No issues whatsoever.
55cm should be good for riders in the 5'8 to 6'0-ish range.
Reply with any questions or to set up a test ride.
I'm in the 9th & 9th area.
