My husband had a medical emergency that almost took his life a couple months ago. We have had to temporarily abandon our homestead while he recovers and has two more surgeries in his future. We are needing to sell our Icelandic sheep herd. We have 2 rams(1white and 1 morit), 1 babydoll wether, 9 ewes, 8 lambs(all around 4 weeks old). Don’t know the gender of all the lambs as they were born when we weren’t there. Lambs were born the first couple weeks of May. All ewes are $300 or $525 for ewe/lamb pairs. Rams are $275, the wether is $200. We also have a female guardian llama that does a great job and has quite a gentle demeanor towards people. Her name is Nancy! Nancy is $900. Price is negotiable if you take all!
Icelandic sheep are known for the best tasting lamb meat. Many say they have no muttony flavor even when processed when they’re older. They’re a great triple use breed. They have great tasting meat and dairy and their wool is beautiful! Most don’t need much shearing as they naturally roo(their fleece pulls off naturally when temperatures are warmer.) Icelandic’s are known for their resilience and hardiness.
All sheep and Llama are located in an off grid homestead about 1.5 hour south of Dugway and 1.5 hour north of delta.
