ApplePayThis is a Fittonia Forest, aka a Nerve Plant. These are beautiful plants that grow up into a bushy 5-8 inch tall and 12-18 inch wide plants. I recently propagated them into 4.5 inch liners, which are super easy to drop inside a pot. I usually upgrade the liner size after a year of growing.
Care: Water twice a week. Fittonias will droop when it needs water but will spring back to life once watered. Provide humidity by having the plant sit on a pebble tray filled with water or by misting the air around the plant with distilled or filtered water.
Light: Fittonia like bright indirect/filtered light, which basically means behind a curtain or to the side of a window, but not directly in front of the window. But my "mother plant" has done totally fine with much darker light levels, like far away from windows and on my kitchen table.
