48 x 60 (approximately) handmade tapa bark cloth. This piece was brought from Samoa by my dad after serving a church mission there in the the late 50's. Unfortunately it has been folded and stored in a trunk ever since. I unfolded it as gently as I could, but didn't want to pull at it too much to get it flat to measure. Due to its age, and being folded so long it is starting to show some deterioration such as a few small holes and some ripping or breaking along the creases where it was folded. Not the best photographer, but the colors are still deep and beautiful.
