Drivetrain- Motor

The KTM SX-E 5 has a super-advanced fully electric, water-cooled permanent magnet motor that provides 30% more riding time compared to the previous version and peak power at 5.0 kW. The motor continues to boast an extremely compact and slim design that perfectly matches the KTM SX-E 5's minimal chassis. It is also dust and water proof which makes it wear and maintenance-free, while the integrated control unit (ECU) guarantees a direct, but very controllable power delivery.

Chassis- Frame

The KTM SX-E 5 frame is forged from lightweight, high-strength Chromoly steel profiles and combines maximum longitudinal stiffness with optimum torsional rigidity. The modification provides more robustness, handling and a tougher rear shock mounting point. The subframe is made of lightweight, fiberglass reinforced plastic, which can be mounted in diffrent positions for different seat heights. This means that the KTM SX-E 5 can 'grow' with your young racer.

Ergonomics & comfort- Handlebar

The KTM SX-E 5 uses high-quality tapered NEKEN handlebars. This allows for a lock-on ODI grip to be mounted on the left side while the right side features a throttle assembly with a vulcanized ODI grip, specifically developed for the electronic drive. An additional crash pad on the handlebar brace protects the rider from rough contact.

Software & Electronics- Battery

The KTM SX-E 5 is fitted with 84 modern lithium-ion cells in a robust die-cast aluminum casing that is mounted just above the electric motor. This means the stored energy is 907 Wh, which is enough for more than two hours of riding for a beginner and approximately 30 min full-throttle racing, depending on conditions and terrain. The integrated battery management system (BMS) ensures the safety and longevity of the battery pack. Charging time has been reduced, with 0-80% capacity achievable in 45 minutes while 0-100% is possible in just 70 minutes.

This motorcycle comes with a Premium Manufacturer's Warranty. Riders enjoy up to 1 year of coverage and experience the thrill of offroad riding with added peace of mind. To keep the warranty valid, always follow the guidelines outlined in your motorcycle's Owner's Manual, including using the bike as intended and completing all scheduled services at an authorized KTM dealer. The standard manufacturer's warranty conditions, as specified in the delivery certificate, also remain applicable.
