Xena is an 18-year-old Quarter Horse/Tennessee Walker cross standing 14.3 hands. She is very-well broke and very calm and gentle. Used primarily in the mountains as a rider and a packer. No rodeo/arena experience. No issues loading into a trailer and stands still for the farrier. Great with children and beginners. She was broke using a Hackamore bit and that's all she's ever experienced.
She has had navicular in her front feet for about 10 years, but it is manageable as long as her hooves are kept trimmed and does well with a dose of bute before working out. I would recommend only light work at this stage of her life. She has been around companions her whole life and would appreciate the company of other horses if that's possible.
