VenmoThis will come with Ortofon Red stylus/cartridge with weight stabilizer & vinyl mat also pro-ject pre amp. Performance Highlights & Design Choices Completely Decoupled Motor: One of the turntable's best design elements is that the synchronous drive motor sits entirely on its own isolated platform. It slips into a cutout loop on the left side of the plinth but never actually touches it. The only physical connection between the motor and the platter is the silicone drive belt wrapped around the outer edge, which prevents motor hum and micro-vibrations from reaching the stylus. S-Shaped Tonearm: Unlike the straight carbon-fiber arms found on the Debut series, the 1.3 Genie uses an S-shaped aluminum arm. It offers full adjustability for downforce and anti-skating (via a traditional hanging weight), making it highly adaptable to cartridge upgrades. Open RCA Outputs: Instead of a captive, cheap hardwired cable, it features gold-plated chassis-mounted RCA jacks and a dedicated grounding screw, allowing you to use high-quality phono interconnects of your choice.
Key Technical Specifications Type: Manual, belt-driven Speeds: 33-1/3 and 45 RPM (manual belt change on the pulley) Platter: 12-inch resonance-optimized MDF with a felt mat Tonearm: 8.6-inch S-shaped aluminum tonearm (Pro-Ject 8.6s) with a fixed headshell Bearing Design: Inverted chrome-plated stainless steel axle resting on a polished steel ball in a bronze housing Signal-to-Noise Ratio: -70 dB Wow & Flutter: ±0.15% Factory Cartridge: Typically bundled with an Ortofon 2M Red, Ortofon OM 3E, or Sumiko Pearl (depending on the specific production run and region)
