Complete transmission removed from storage. Shifts smoothly through all gears and reverse. Top cover removed for inspection and internal gears are clean with no chipped teeth or rust. Drain plug magnet showed only normal fine metallic fuzz. Tag reads RAN-D1. Great candidate for restoration or period-correct Ford project. Full disclosure, this transmission has been cleaned and painted, not to hide anything not to fool anyone, but to preserve it if put back in storage. I will open the top for your inspection.
