Dip N Dots is a standout 5-year-old Appaloosa gelding standing a solid 14 hands tall, with all the chrome, a long flowing mane and tail, and a look that turns heads everywhere he goes. But he’s much more than just a pretty face—he’s the kind of horse that’s been ridden, used, and enjoyed by our whole family. Dip N Dots is broke the right way. He is one-handed broke, neck reins with ease, spins around, and has a big, eye-catching stop. He’s soft in the bridle, willing, and stays consistent every ride. To top it off, he will bow and lay down on cue, adding a fun touch to an already solid foundation. Where Dip N Dots really shines is in the obstacle course. He confidently handles the 6-foot teeter-totter, cowboy curtain, noodles, bridges, and just about anything you want to point him at. He is willing, and takes pride in his work. He has also taken exceptionally well to the Heel-O-Matic and is becoming a handy little rope horse. Outside the arena, he’s just as dependable. Dip N Dots has been trail ridden extensively in the mountains near West Yellowstone, where he’s encountered wildlife, rough terrain, and even listened to elk bugles without missing a beat. He’s the kind you can saddle up and enjoy. One of our favorite things about Dip N Dots is how much our boys enjoy him. Our 13-year-old and 11-year-old sons both love riding him and spending time on the Heel-O-Matic.
