Up for sale is a stunning, beautifully preserved Vintage Kirkham’s Springbar Traveler canvas tent from the golden era of Salt Lake City manufacturing (circa 1980–1985).

The Traveler is one of Springbar's most iconic designs, featuring the highly desirable 8ft x 10ft footprint and a 6.5ft interior standing height. If you know Springbar history, you know this specific timeframe represents the pinnacle of Kirkham's domestic production—cut, sewn, and finished right here in Utah. The heavy-duty cotton duck canvas quality and weatherproofing on these vintage models are second to none.

It is incredibly rare to find a 40-year-old Traveler in this kind of structurally excellent, camp-ready condition.

Condition Highlights:

• The Canvas: Clean, tight, and robust with no dry rot, no structural patches, and absolutely no musty mildew smells.
• The Hardware: Genuine heavy-duty, double-sided YKK metal zippers operate perfectly smooth with no oxidation, missing teeth, or fabric fraying around the tracks.
• The Interior/Floor: Solid, well-maintained floor with intact corner stitching.

• Inspection: I am happy to open the bag and let you inspect the pristine canvas and YKK zippers upon arrival. Because of the setup size, I will not be pitching the full tent at the pickup spot, but the attached photos show its perfect structural shape from this week.
• Payment: Cash or Venmo preferred at the time of exchange. No holds without a deposit. Not interested in trades for electronic items, tools, or modern nylon tents.
