VenmoSelling a heavy-duty McLane walk-behind gas lawn edger. If you know lawn care equipment, you know McLane makes the best, longest-lasting edgers on the market. It features a solid steel frame, a full four-wheel layout for stability, and a reliable 3.5 HP Briggs & Stratton engine that starts up easily and runs strong.
The Good: Mechanically excellent. The motor has tons of power, the blade angle and depth engagement adjustments work perfectly, and the blade has plenty of life left on it.
The Catch: The original handlebar throttle cable snapped. I tried a cheap aftermarket replacement and it broke right away too, so I just took it off. You can easily set and adjust the throttle manually using the lever right on the side of the engine block. It works perfectly fine this way for normal use, but I wanted to be fully upfront about it!
Air Filter Cover: The plastic air filter housing has a hole on top from a previous owner, but I have it sealed up completely tight with heavy-duty repair tape so no dirt gets in.
Overall Condition: Typical cosmetic scuffs and minor surface rust on the red blade guard from normal yard use, but the main yellow chassis is very clean, solid, and free of grease. Asking $120 or best offer.
